4 Ways to Elevate Yourself
Looking to improve yourself?
It can be difficult to know where to start. There are four ways to take your performance to the next level, which Robert Glazer shares in his book, Elevate.
- Spiritually. Elevating yourself spiritually means being self-aware and knowing your values and what you stand for. These beliefs can be your North Star to guide your work and life decisions.
- Intellectually. Know your goals and where you are going. What do you hope to accomplish? What do you want to learn? Look at where you want to be, and make sure you’re on a path that will get you there.
- Physically. If you don’t take care of your body, it’s hard to take care of the other things in your life. Elevating yourself physically by eating healthy and being active sets you on a course to excel in other areas.
- Emotionally. This area is all about relationships and how you respond to challenges. Building and maintaining strong relationships is crucial to personal and professional success and requires emotional intelligence to connect with the people around us.
If you can master these four areas, you’ll be able to elevate yourself for higher performance personally and professionally. And it’s not a one-time thing; you can keep growing and improving in all four areas for a well-rounded and successful career and life.
